The year of the Rat runs off without being too kind to the Gui Water male. Fortunately there's no need to be upset. Admittedly, the Ox also doesn't herald particularly good news for you when it comes to matters of the heart. But, you are definitely assured of at least a few months in play during the first half of the Ox year. So, look forward to those Ox nose and spend this month being productive at work. There is a tendency to over-eat, either due to stress or because of the number of friends dropping in from out of town. Resist the urge to spend far too many hours with your best male friend in the world, either drinking too much or just being a lazy slob at home with the PS2. You certainly don't want to move into the initial half of the year, when your romance prospects are best, looking a little on the pudgy side. Especially as Guis have a tendency to gain weight.

A good month for romance, provided you can get off your high horse! You're feeling like you want to play hard to get but being too hard to get might not really get you anywhere. It is unwise to expect someone to get EVERYTHING right when they ask you out for the first time, or for everything to be simply perfect when you go on that first date. So cut the guy a little slack and be a little less finicky. And if you open your eyes a bit more instead of squinting in disdain, you might notice that Mr January is positively swimming in charisma and charm, if you just give him the chance to show it to you. It takes a couple of dates before he shows you his true personality so dig deep and don't be so dismissive after Date #1. Good places to meet someone this month include skiing resorts, or on a company or work-related trip to someplace snowy and cold (think Alpine resort). You could also look to see if a subordinate can fix you up with one of their friends. There is no shame in this - remember, get off your high horse!
